Werewolves was decent

Werewolves was decent. This is basically the Purge with Werewolves. It might not have rewatch value.  Frank Grillo stars as a research scientist. (Yeah, he might not be my choice for a scientist either.)  A super-moon has caused millions of people to become werewolves. Scientists are working to discover a cure. Chaos ensures when test subjects transform. The werewolves look good. Practical effects were used.  Lou Diamond Philips is barely in this film. It is nice to see him though.

Take Cover is good

Take Cover is good. This is another direct to video action movie with Scott Adkins. He tries to retire from his black ops job. His employees don't accept this and he and his partner are trapped in a hotel room and under attack. Two women, hired as massage artists, are trapped in the room too. This is good. It has a small cast and a limited location but I think it works. Adkins is good. I liked his partner. I did not recognize that actor. There is less hand to hand action than in some of Adkins other films. That kind of goes a long with the set-up. This might be worth re-watching.  It is not as good as One Shot or One More Shot.
