Movie Thoughts 2-3-2019

Father of the Bride, the Steve Martin one, is still good. This is one of the three or four classic movies Martin made. Martin Short’s wedding planner is a little over the top maybe but he is not insufferable. Also it helps that he is a supporting character. The animated movies Prince of Egypt and Joseph King of Dreams are good. Maybe the Prince of Egypt is a bit better but there are both enjoyable. (A lot, if not all, of this is revealed in trailers.) With STEM in control, Grey becomes nearly superhuman. I thought this was pretty good. Logan Marshall-Green was really good in the lead role. I am not sure if I had seen him in another film but I am interested in seeing him in another. It is a pretty violent film. Leigh Whannell wrote and direct...
