Sean’s movie thoughts

 Maybe I am over Deadpool and the breaking the fourth wall jokes. I did not hate this film and I did finish it. That at least is something. The action was fine. It was nice to see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again. I liked one of the two major villains.  As I said I feel over the breaking the fourth wall jokes or maybe some of those jokes were not that good this time around. Also the cherry or upbeat song being used for background music during a fight scene might have been done one time too often. I am keeping the plot details vague. I liked one of the two major villains but the other one I did not find interesting at all. Problem is that the villain I liked was the second villain. The second villain did not appear for maybe thirty minutes. I might not watch this again but I am keeping that option open. If this is better than Green Lantern, which I am sure of, it is not that much better. Maybe the Green Lantern film had a few issues but it is not as bad as Reynolds has made it o...

 I have no interest in seeing Deadpool and Wolverine. At least not yet. This could, and probably will, change at some point.  Maybe I am a bit actioned out and need to watch a couple of romantic comedies. It feels like a while since I watched a romantic comedy. It feels like the last romantic comedy I saw was the one with Lucy Hale and Nat Woolf. I liked that one. Or maybe I keep hoping that the Salem’s Lot remake will come out soon, I feel like I’ve been waiting for it for a long time. I am still a little disappointed that film is not going to theaters. I am glad Deadpool and Wolverine is making money. That should kill a few articles about how superhero movies are in a slump. (I suspect those articles will come back if the new Superman flops in 2025. Sigh.) Oh well, I will probably see Deadpool and Wolverine before the year ends.
