Tremors a Cold Day in Hell is okay at best

Very soon afrer I bought this on blu-ray, it poped up on Netflix. Perhaps that was a sign that I did not need to buy it. Too late now, heh. This is the 6th movie in the Tremors franchise.

Micahael Gross returns as Burt Gumer, the survivalist and anti-government person. He has fought the monsters called Grabboids several times and is now an expert on them. (Grabboids are huge snake like monsters that live underground.)His associate and possible long lost son, Travis,is played by Jaime Kennedy. They make a nice buddy pairing.

Grabboids are in Canada near a research facility. They are not known for dwelling in cold climates. Burt and Travis go to investigate and kill the Grabboids. One of the people working at the research facility is the daughter of a pair of Burt’s friends.

The Grabboids at least look pretty good. If you have Netflix and have fond memories of the original Tremors, this is worth checking out. Gross seems to have be having fun. Kennedy isn’t bad but the movie overall is not too good.

This is not worth buying if you aren’t a fan of the series.
