Batman the Long Halloween part 1 was good

I enjoyed Batman the Long Halloween part one. I look forward to part 2.  This is the adaptation of a 12 issue mini-series by Joseph Loeb and Tim Sale. (It has been too long since I last read the mini-series, so I cannot comment on how close the adaptation is or if the movie conveys Sale’s art style.) It is set early in Batman’s career, before the first appearance of Robin. Members of the mob are being killed around holidays in Gotham City. Batman investigates. I think is worth seeing if you aren’t familiar with the source material. Jensen Ackles provides the voice of Batman. I think he is fine. I am not sure anyone in the voice cast was great but I didn’t think anyone was a weak link either.  I wonder if there will be any surprises in part two. The animated movie Hush differed from the original comics. The next part is supposed to come out in August.

Best of Scott Adkins

I have been watching some silly TV shows. Since this is a movie blog, I decided to do a best of list.   According to me, this is the list of the top five Scott Adkins movies, at least at this point of time.  Next year, I might revisit this list. I am not counting movies where he plays a villain or where he has a supporting role.  Eliminators The Debt Collector Accident Man Avengement  Undisputed 3 My new rule on movie lists is no ties. I could change it later but it seems like the right way to go. I guess I could have put Seized on this list instead of Undisputed 3. Maybe I should re-watch them bit over a weekend. Maybe the training sequences in Undisputed 3 made it more enjoyable than Seized.  I went with Debt Collector over its sequel Debt Collectors. I like both but the original is better and it has Tony Todd, which is not a bad thing.
