Fantastic Four First Steps is good and other movie thoughts

Fantastic Four First Steps is good. It is better than the last Fantastic Four movie, which is a low bar to clear. The cast is good and I liked the story. It was kind of odd how rushed the origin of the team is. Maybe studios think skipping the origin lets the film get to the interesting part.  I did not care for the mid credits scene but at least it is reportedly going somewhere, unlike a few mid credit scenes from other Marvel movies.

There is a Spinal Tap sequel, some 40 years later. That seems odd. A fair amount of these late sequels have not been good. I don't feel interested in this movie, at this time. I am not even sure if I saw the original Spinal Tap, so perhaps I am not the audience for this.

The Strangers Chapter Two is out. Apparently all movies in this trilogy were filmed at the same time, so there is an already a sequel even if this one bombs. I have heard this is pretty bad. Even some You Tubers who specialize reviewing in horror movies or seem to like horror movies more average film critics did not like this.
