No Time to Die has been pushed back and other movie thoughts
No Time to Die has been pushed back to November. The explanation for the move seemed vague. I guess there will be more months of speculation on who’s replacing Daniel Craig as Bond. He is supposed to leave, really this time, but the franchise will go on.
Jumanji the Next Level held up on re-watch. Some films don’t. I feel like the film makers have done everything they can with this concept and there is nowhere left to go. I could be wrong but it really seems like everything worth exploring about the concept has been explored. The young cast does not have enough time together but I guess that is a byproduct of the concept.
Suerman Red Son was a good animated Superman movie. It was not great but it is worth watching and I think it will hold on re-watching. This does not tie in with a lot of the other DC animated movies, so it could be a good starting point for someone. Superman lands in Russia and is raised there.
I think Star Trek is dead on the big screen for now.
