Fast X thoughts

I guess I like the later Fast and Furious movies.  I own three of the core films and the spin-off.  I think I checked in with Number 7 but I might have seen the sixth one or part of it.  I wish Alan Ritchson had more to do. It was nice to see him. (He guest starred on a sitcom that made better use of him, heh.) Was the beard added to make him look different than he does as Reacher? The plot makes no sense. I am not sure why Rita Moreno is in this film. However, I am not complaining.  I don’t like John Cena as an actor much as other people do.  I am not sure what it is but I don't hate him as an actor.I liked his entrance in the movie and the subplot where he and his nephew are on the run.  Yes, he was the bad guy in the last film but he and Dom and Mia made up before the end of the last film.  (I liked him more than Pete Davidson.) The plot is the team is tricked by the son of a former enemy into committing a crime and there is some super weapon. (This series has really changed ove

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning part I is good

This is good but too long. Maybe that is because it is the first of two films. The plot is that some AI has gone rogue and Ethan and his team are called into action. Rebecca Ferguson's Ilsa Faust is mixed up in this situation. Stunt are good. It is nice to see the team again and the theme song still sounds good after all these years. I felt the car chase did not go on too long.  I think I liked a few other films in this series more than this but I liked it. I liked Alec Baldwin's speech in Rogue Nation, that was fun. Also I liked the idea of a rogue Mission Impossible team (the Syndicate).

Some Sniper movies

In 1993, Tom Berringer and Billy Zane made a movie called Sniper.  A few years later there was either a direct to vhs or made for tv sequel. Then there was another. Then Chad Michael Collins came along playing Brandon Beckett, the son of Berringer's Thomas Beckett. Fast forward to 2023 and there are ten films in this series. I own four, the original and the three most recent sequels.  I apparently like these. I am not saying any of the sequels are great but I have enjoyed them. I might watch them again. A couple of new characters have come in and this series might seem like a micro-budgeted Mission Impossible. There is some humor but I don't think it is too much.  Berringer and Zane might have left the franchise but you never know for sure. I think Sniper Rogue Mission is on Netflix as I type this.
